Yoga Flash Mob!

Walking through Bryant Park one evening, I witnessed this incredible scene  hundreds of people doing yoga on the park's lawn. Imagine! In the heart of Manhattan's bustling mid-town!

Now, consider this. . .

. . .recent studies,*  across a variety of scientific disciplines, increasingly reveal that when we move or exercise, we initiate a complex sequence of biological, electrical and chemical  processes, or "bio-feedback loops".

In this way the mind and body regulate each other in order to maintain overall physical and mental well-being. . .

. . .add disciplined thought and breath to that mix and now
our conscious selves can join in that delightful "conversation" as well.

What better way, then, to participate
in shaping the narrative of one's inner terrain,
than an outdoor yoga session in the park!

In turn, this calming self-regulation and its feedback help to reinforce our external regard for the communities to which we belonglove for self and the environment what a bargain!

So, what are you waiting for?

Get out and move!
